In this Public Relation Intensive, Alice will go over the five different types of Public Relations, the various different stages of a communication campaign. Success strategies and action items, demonstrate and show you how to create every piece of a media kit, the local media landscape and what to look out for, way to approach the media and how to maintain a positive on-going relationship. We will also show you potential pitfalls to watch out for during a communication campaign, case studies of what not to do, and successful case studies. This is a very hands on workshop, so please do bring what you have in mind and we as a group will work through everyone’s campaign so you will have a media kit with a strategy for execution when you come out. You will learn what a pitch is, the various ways to pitch and build up the confidence through practice during class to do it in real life afterwards.
